AMD has a surprise for the new Radeon RX 7000!

As you may know, despite the manufacturing difficulties and the apparent crisis in the graphics card world in 2020, AMD made a big and ugly impression by reaching the level of performance that NVIDIA brought to the table with its RTX 30 (amps).

Now that things are “more or less the same” it is time to look at the next steps. Will AMD keep betting to beat NVIDIA, or was the Radeon RX 6000 based on the RDNA2 architecture just a “blissful break”?

Well, AMD has some very interesting surprises for the graphics market according to a new patent.

AMD has a surprise for the new Radeon RX 7000!

So, according to the new information, AMD now has a patent discussing the implementation of an accelerator stacked on the chip of its next-generation graphics cards. A new component that is said to bring machine learning capabilities to enter a new world of graphics performance.

In other words, in addition to the MCM solution, which combines several chips in a single product, AMD also has a new generation of 3D Infinity Cache technology and will apparently use the wave of innovation to create an APD (Accelerated Processor Die). This means that there is a new chip built into the main GPU, possibly stacked on top, that was designed for machine learning tasks.

In short, this could be AMD’s answer to NVIDIA Tensor Cores! Which serve as the foundation for the DLSS technology that has been so much talked about in the video game world.

Besides, what do you think of all of this? Enthusiastic about AMD’s advances in the world of graphics cards? Or are you just worried that you will run out of supplies and that prices are extremely aggressive? Please let us know what you think in the comments below.
